Houston Mayor’s Race Heats Up

I have now photographed all 4 major contenders for the Houston Mayor’s race! I have a great job and I meet so many interesting people in my line of work. I always laugh that I learn a little bit about a lot of things.

The candidates running for mayor this year are Annise Parker (our current city controller), Gene Locke, Peter Brown (current city councilman), and Roy Morales. WOW! What a diverse group. I got a chance to ask each one why they thought they should be mayor.

During political season, I usually have many of the candidates coming through the studio for photos in magazine articles or campaigns. I encourage everyone to read up on the candidates and educate themselves on the issues!
